秘色青瓷烧制
Mi-Se Celadon / Secret-Colour Porcelain
Fired above 1300°C in a reducing-flame kiln with precise atmosphere control to produce a vitrified glaze. Europe did not reliably achieve such temperatures until the 18th century. Confirmed by excavated artifacts from the Famen Temple crypt.
秘色青瓷
Scientific Principle
High-temperature chemistry: mullite needle crystals form the structural skeleton. Reducing flame: Fe₂O₃ (reddish-brown) → 2FeO (bluish-green) + ½O₂.
